A Little History
Much has happened in the travel industry since we set up our first agency back in 1993. We now have over 600 members with a turnover approaching half a billion pounds.
Our top member in 2009 achieved sales of over £30m netting commissions of over £3.5m. In fact 2009 was a record year for the group selling more holidays and travel related products than ever before. It just goes to show that no matter how tough the economy becomes, we will not give up on our annual holiday. It's now firmly embedded as a necessity and not luxury!
Travel Agent Revolution
In recent years we have seen a travel agent revolution with the emergence of low cost airlines enabling agents to take accommodation from our database of over 100,000 hotels and apartments worldwide, add a flight to make a fully bonded package holiday using the Group ATOL licence. We are now our own biggest supplier meaning, that unlike other travel groups, we are not reliant upon anyone in order to compete in a market worth over £68.5 billion annually.
Size matters and we are proud to be the largest independent travel group in the UK which offers full bonding and a cast iron customer guarantee.
