A Little History
Much has happened in the travel industry since we set up our first agency back in 1993. We now have over 500 members. In 2012 our top member achieved sales of £21m along with creating and supplying holidays for 56,000 passengers. Each year our members report an increase of sales year on year, customer retention and the excellent ability to compete. This is as a result of the strong successful support they continue to receive from The Global Travel Group Limited.
Travel Agent Revolution
In recent years we have seen a travel agent revolution with the emergence of low cost airlines enabling agents to take accommodation from our database of over 200,000 hotels and apartments worldwide, add a flight to make a fully bonded package holiday using the Group ATOL licence. We are now our own biggest supplier meaning, that unlike other travel groups, we are not reliant upon anyone in order to compete in a market worth over £68.5 billion annually.
Size matters and we are proud to be the largest independent travel group in the UK which offers full bonding and a cast iron customer guarantee.
